Passion Fruit Kernel Oil, or Maracuja oil, is cold pressed and has a pleasant fruity scent. It is rich in vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids such as linoleic acid (omega-6 fatty acid) as well as oleic acid (omega-9 fatty acid) and palmitic acid. It contains anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, and it is especially valued for its skin-protective and antioxidant effect. The high content of linoleic acid regenerates and strengthens the skin. An oil that helps soothe dry, irritated, sun-exposed, or mature skin. In a massage blend, it can benefit muscular aches. In hair care, it can promote hair growth while treating dry, damaged hair.

To help improve hair growth, mix the Passion Fruit Kernel Oil with equal amount castor oil and add a couple of drops of essential rosemary oil [scr.] and peppermint oil [scr.]. You can make a larger portion, so you have for more times. Massage the mixture into your scalp and leave for 1 hour before washing out. Repeat 2-4 times a week for best results. For dry hair with split ends, apply a few drops of Passion Fruit Kernel Oil to the ends of your hair after drying your hair.
